Bashia Galt holds a Masters Degree in Marketing and Management from University of Commerce in Poland. She is a specialist in Online Marketing, SEO, Marketing Strategy, Social Media and WordPress Web Design. Bashia arrived in South Africa in 2009 following Malcolm Galt, her husband and business partner. Bashia’s professional journey within the Helderberg started from opening and running the 5 star Oceana Palms guesthouse in Gordon’s Bay. The establishment achieved a occupancy rate of 30% and R1.2mln in turnover within its first year of operation. Her marketing strategy and internal systems she implemented worked very well and when it came down to everyday running of the guesthouse and cooking breakfasts, Bashia had moved onto working with The Exporter and ExSolar.

Bashia joined her husband again in 2014 when he started i-Check Data Solutions. She managed to get most of the keywords to show on the first page on Google within 4 weeks. Since then, she was approached by friends and many others to do SEO and web design for them. Now BMG Marketing is a full online marketing service provider.

Malcolm Galt is fluent in English and Afrikaans, as well as being well acquainted with the Polish language. In 2005 he completed his studies at Stellenbosch University and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law. He is currently in his final year of LLB at UNISA.

Malcolm went on to work and live in several countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, USA, Ireland and Poland, whilst expanding his knowledge in various fields and cultures, including customer relations, business, language, management, recruitment, marketing, and much more.

Jacky Lourens received her Comprehensive Writing diploma from College SA. She continued her studies in 2015 when she received her Social Marketing diploma.

In 2012 Jacky started an internship at a web design agency where she obtained extensive experience in Web Design and Graphic Design. After her internship, Jacky worked with several companies, expanding her knowledge and skills set in various areas of Web Design, Development, Online Marketing and even Management. Among her many skills, Jacky is trained in WordPress, HTML & CSS, Advertising, Marketing, and several areas of Adobe, including Adobe Photoshop.

Jacky joined BMG Marketing in late 2015, and is very accomplished in her career as a Web Designer and Graphic Designer. Jacky has a passion for all areas of design, and gets invested in each and every project that comes her way.

Liza Thompson in fluent in both English and Afrikaans. In 2014 she graduated with a distinction from Strand High School, and is currently busy with her second year of studies at the University of South Africa, where she is pursuing a Bachelors of Commerce degree.

In early 2016 Liza started working as a freelance content writer for BMG Marketing where she expanded her knowledge on various areas of creative writing and online marketing. During her time at BMG Marketing, she has written content for a wide range of websites, and is currently increasing her duties and gaining more experience in the online marketing world.
