Better Organic Ranking = Better Quality Content

Recently, Google unleashed its new algorithm updates, the 3 “P”s – Google Panda, Google Penguin & Google Phantom.  Some websites with scrap or low quality content or with too many links in one source have been hit badly by these new algorithm updates.

Google wants to see quality content on your website; therefore online marketers need to listen up as Google rewards sites with good quality content by giving them a better ranking on their search engine.

We have put together some tips on how to create good quality Google friendly content.

Tip 1 Make sure you share your knowledge:

Google wants to see you educating your consumers about your products and services, this will show you to be an authority on the industry in which you operate, so by sharing your knowledge you will grow a client following that will help to grow you organic hits on the site and will eventually turn into sales.

Tip 2 Focus on being original

Spend time researching topics and learn to write your own content, if you simply cut and paste other peoples content and try and pass it off as your own work, then Google will penalize your website and it will drop in rankings. The more original your content, the better potential organic ranking your website will get on Google.

Tip 3 Don’t Create too many anchor links

Be careful not to create too many anchor links within your website, that redirect to the same pages. If you can focus on trying to keep your links to one per a page you should be fine. If you overdue it with the links your webpage will look cluttered and this can affect your page rankings.

Tip 4 Embrace social media

Do not turn your nose up at social media, it can really be a huge way to get your brand out there. Work at setting up accounts on popular media platforms such as Google+, Twitter and Facebook. Every time you create a new post of launch a new product, use these channels to let the world know. Google loves social media and will recognize your brand via these social media pages and rank these pages in better organic position.

Tip 5 Contribute Content to your website on a Regular Basis

You need to get into a routine of contributing content to your website on a regular basis. Set up a blog page and use it as a way to discuss topics of interest in your industry. Google is looking for fresh content all the time an if they can see that you are working your website, they will push it up in Google rankings. To fully see the results, it can take time but trust us when we say this is one certain method of boosting your profile online.
